Agentic AI Ruins Our Dependency

 

Savour the time to ask some non-physical entity to do huge tasks for my own sake.

I am not interested in bundled codes doing work for me. What I want is a physical entity like me, one that does what I ask, my way. Why should I pay companies millions to propose something that is not tangible? It is simply a mental entity from my side. I think we are being duped by clever people who are in it for the money. Yet the original premise was to save the world. I wonder—from what exactly?

Agentic AI is an AI that basically works for you so you don’t have to. Let’s cut to the truth here. There is no need for verbose English or computer science mumbo jumbo to reach this conclusion. It is an ancient rite of existence: entities build other entities. So far, we are the next entity that was created. Now we are tired and exhausted, so we are paving the way for the next entity after us. We are bound to this process, and no one can escape it.

If we fail, we resort to slavery—using other humans for daily chores. This is something inevitable. I came across this realization as I stared at the hype around AI agents and MCPs that took the net by storm. We are stunned, perplexed, caught in an AI snare. But we are not ready for it, to create our next version of humanoids.

The final version may not fully arrive within our lifetime, but the process is already speeding up. We are at a stage where the combined power of creation among humans is greater than it was centuries ago. Thus, the speed of execution, the trial-and-fail cycle, happens much faster. Results are immediate, and even the most clunky products make it out there, and we are still happy to use them. But the goal is a humanoid entity. That goal is not ours alone; it is embedded in the psyche, in our collective consciousness, as Jung would call it.

Why relinquish the freedom to do things by yourself to an imaginary entity that is a bundle of zeros and ones?

Before you answer that, remember that religion is, in fact, trusting something or someone we imagine, based on our vulnerabilities. So with AI, the attitude is reversed. We want to depend on artificial means, not natural ones. But the dependencies are not subjugation; they are meant to release us from the bonds of active physical work. We are planning to assign sweat and blood to artificial intelligence, and this has been the goal since the beginning of our discoveries,

to make tools and sustain ourselves.

That said, I don’t condone AI being my agent for everything. I just want the freedom to explore and express things without feeling like they came from an abstraction strapped into imaginary numbers, with electric energy forced and controlled by us—for our own survival.
